I finally managed to get into that last class I need. I've been having issues with the university since they wanted to make me an out of state student last November. That is to say, double my tuition. That was finally resolved after much fussing, and it was brought to my attention that there's a class I need to take this quarter in order to graduate next year. It needs to be this this quarter. It filled up 6 weeks ago, a good two weeks before I got a chance to sign up. The professors were remarkably unsympathetic, insisting that I must participate in the random lottery to fill the empty spots at each lab session. Yesterday morning I was one of the handful of students that they didn't have space for. Fortunately I was lucky enough to get into the afternoon slot! Hoooray! The struggle is over. Well I don't suppose I can claim that, since I'm taking biology and molecular enzymology. The struggle has changed in nature.

Well I got Nienna posted on eBay just in time to claim her as a March auction. If you're having trouble getting there from the auction page...well, me too. I'll try to get that sorted out when I get back from school tomorrow. :)

Sorry for the lack of updates. My sleep schedule has been pretty impressively out of whack. The cold that I imported hasn't left me with much willpower when it comes resisting sleep at inappropriate hours.

Things are settling down now, and I've had time to go through the 800+ pictures from the trip. Here are the first few of my favorites.

The Nienna auction will go up tomorrow. It'll still count as a March auction even if it ends in April right?

I'm home! China was wonderful! I had a marvelous time in the Philippines too. I learned how to scuba dive. :D After I get over the jetlag, I have lots and lots of pictures to post. Not to tease you, since this may take a while to finish, but I kept a travel journal rather like the camping comic. It's a pretty entertaining little story.

...is what I wanted the news story to be about. I have a painting of fish that I'd intended to put up, but it turns out that that file is corrupt. I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow, and I'll be gone until the 20th, so you'll just have to wait for the fish. There will very likely be some marvelous pictures from my vacation so I hope you'll be able to forgive me. To tide you over, please have a look at my pirate chick.
