Whoops
  --28 April, 2008, 16:37:42

Well, if you're gonna break a New Year's resolution, might as well do so with with a vengeance. My resolution this year was to update weekly. Whoops.

I've started fussing with my site, and I've been trying out different backgrounds. So now there are butterflies instead of just green. As you can see, I still have a couple of kinks to work out. :)

There's a new mini for the gallery."

Because I'm a slacker Andrew went ahead and posted our spring break pictures. Incidentally, spring break was cut short due to snow. The following weekend was 85 degrees and sunny. The weekend after that it had gone back to snowing. Spring!

It's about time!

You know what my site has been lacking of late? Stories of destruction, that's what!

Last night I was painting away. I'd been at it a while, and I was starting to get uncomfortable. So I shifted my chair just a little. I shifted it right into my unsecured bookshelf, which itself started shifting. The bookshelf, behind me at this point, I was able to stop from falling. However the stuff on the top shelf was not deterred. When I realized that my camera was among the descending items, I froze. And then it hit me. Right on the back of my head. It bounced off my dome and landed on the cat's scratching post.

Fortunately the camera was not damaged, since I have just gotten the knack of using it. This Alexia photo from last week is one of the better mini pictures I've taken. I doubt that I'll ever be allowed to show them, but there were some humorous pictures of Andrew coming to make sure that I was ok.

To my mother: Yes I checked for the signs of a concussion--but only after I finished painting the mini.

I have a headache.

I got a little behind there, but that's all taken care of now. Email should be taken care of too. If you were expecting to hear from me but haven't yet, please try again.

There's a new addition to my gallery.
