You're getting sleeeepy. Oh wait. That's me.

The quarter is in full swing. The sun isn't quite up yet, and I'm off to class. I'm quite sleepy. But there's a nifty new mini up in my gallery.

The First
  --20 October, 2007, 11:45:44
Many thanks to Przemyslaw Jeske for sending me a picture of Jen's Sister of Compassion conversion. This is the mini that really started it all for me. It was wonderful seeing it again after all these years.

The Destroyer Strikes Again!
  --9 October, 2007, 20:06:26
As folks gain experience in the hobby side of miniatures we tend to accumulate stories about superglue. My favorites, up til now, were the story about opening the stubborn bottle with my teeth, and the one where I glued my brush to my mouth. I believe I have just beaten them. I just dropped my tube of super glue. Which wouldn't be that exciting, or frankly unusual, except that my cat chose that instant to be underneath my workspace. She's got a great big dollop right between her shoulders.
I bet my bed is going to get pooped on.

Mouse Guts
  --8 October, 2007, 17:09:24
My little brown cat, Brownie, is a fiesty little thing. A couple of days ago she killed a toy mouse deader than any I've ever seen before. I came home from school to find its moistened chalk guts spread out all over my bedroom floor. They were unimportant to overall function, as the hollow shell continues to make a great toy.
School is going pretty well. My poor biology teacher has the worst time with names. Whenever she calls on someone in class she always asks their name, and she always gets it wrong. Always. I became Megan--which isn't a big deal. Gerard translated into Draw. Forrest into Frost. I felt sorry for poor old Clog. I imagine he'd much rather be called Claude.
